Susan Harris.

is the Technical Director at Anthesis Group.

 

Susan has over 15 years’ experience in sustainability and a strong knowledge of the apparel sector. As a Technical Director she brings a depth of experience in resource efficiency, sustainable supply chains, engagement and training. Susan also works across our built environment division, with a strong focus on strategic solutions that work on-the-ground.

Susan was strongly involved in the development of the UK’s voluntary sector commitment on clothing sustainability, SCAP2020. She has worked with numerous high street and high end clothing brands to help them develop a business-focused approach to sustainability, and embed it successfully within their supply chains.

Additionally, she previously worked for the cost consultancy Sweett Group, and the construction best practice body CIRIA where she led their work on waste and resources.

Susan is Chair of the RSA Sustainability Network, sits on the Board of the Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP), and lectures in sustainability for the MA Construction programme at Kingston University. She has an interest in stakeholder engagement, behavioural change and systems approaches to sector issues.
