Elliot Round.
is Founder and CTO of M-XR.
Elliot Round is the Co-Founder of M-XR and a digital artist exploring the convergence between technology and art - looking at technologies from A.I, medical imaging and an array of other industries put under a creative spotlight.
Prior to founding M-XR, his work as a VR designer has been displayed at film festivals globally such as Tribeca, Cannes, Raindance and AFI docs, each time raising the bar from photorealistic 3D - most recently M-XR leads the technical production on the Tribeca Film Festival’s flagship VR experience “Drop in the ocean” - a hyper-realistic social VR piece looking at the impacts of pollution on marine life.
Seeing the huge potential in this new medium of XR, Elliott founded M-XR with Ryan Howell with a mission to democratise the world of 3D making it accessible to all, by solving the largest bottleneck in the 3D pipeline, high-quality asset creation. Doing so by inventing an automatic 3D capture device, able to accurately scan the real world, resulting in 3D content that is incomparable to reality.
Over the past year, M-XR has been working closely with brands & designers as a conduit between the world of 3D and that of fashion- exploring and identifying how 3D can be used to benefit the design process, introducing new ways to buy and sell products, and enhancing the overall eCommerce experience.
