Fabio Di Liberto has over 20 years of experience in brand, product and service Innovation designing value for different types of businesses, from large structured corporations to start-ups. His entire existence has been driven by a strong will to create “better experiences for people”. He naturally strives to inspire people around him, continuously challenging the mundane to create business and human value.
Fabio is a licensed architect, holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in New York and a Degree in Architecture from the University of Palermo, Italy. He is a Fulbright Scholar with numerous awards and scholarships to his credit including Excellence Award for Outstanding merit in Graduate industrial design, Comett, and Erasmus.
Fabio Di Liberto is originally from Palermo, Italy and has lived and worked in Kassel and Lübeck (Germany), Bologna (Italy) and New York (USA).
During his career he has been proving the ability to orchestrate with passion and competence a broad range of elements to design experiences that delight customers and create business success for companies. His proven quality work in research and design contributed to winning some of the most respected international Innovation awards but most importantly to delivering on commercially successful programs.
During his time in New York, Fabio worked as an Industrial Designer with FutureBrand, developing a wide range of products and packaging solutions for global brand leaders. Prior to his work for FutureBrand, he worked as an architect/interior designer in Italy and Germany.
As Principal of the Strategy practice at Continuum in Milan, he was responsible for creating and growing key client relationships, addressing complex business challenges as well as leading projects and resources, ensuring skill development, team collaboration, tools, process and service development, business development and project profitability.
During his career in Moleskine he contributed to codifying and reinforcing the globally loved brand. He was also responsible to orchestrate a variety of existing and new brand manifestations from hybrid products, to services, events, communication strategies and extended retail experiences.
Fabio has been a visiting professor at Politecnico di Milano and member of the scientific committee at PSSD since 2007. For many years he has been a speaker on Innovation Processes, Design Thinking and Design Management at Politecnico di Milano, Bocconi University, University of Palermo, and other industry organizations and associations and international speaking platforms.
