Marie-Laure Piednoir is the Sustainability Program Manager at Salomon, a leading international outdoor brand for innovative snowsports, outdoor and trail running equipment based in Annecy, French Alps. Passionate about reconciling spirit and practices for a more responsible outdoor industry, Marie-Laure oversees Salomon’s sustainability strategy ”Play-Minded Program”, its program implementation across the company and collaborative dialogue around sustainability challenges with Salomon’s key partners and communities.
She has spent the last ten years of her career focusing on sustainability challenges of the private sector (Kering, Renault, EDF, Schneider Electric) and non-profit (Groupe SOS, MicroDON). She leverages her past experience of managing innovative & systemic engineering programs for consumer electronics into crafting sustainability programs with actual impact at scale.
She holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from HEC Paris, a Bachelor of Philosophy from Toulouse Jean-Jaurès University and engineering degrees from Supélec and Georgia Institute of Technology.
