About Designer
Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili, a graduate of Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and winner of Be Next Fashion Design Contest of 2015. Aleksandre had been a head designer of one of the Georgian brands MATÉRIEL since 2015.
His brand’s first individual collection is Fall/Winter 2018/19, which brought him an amazing success. The collection caught the eye of very important international buyers and press representatives.

Brand Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili is based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Sustainability is still future for our country but our team is trying to be at the forefront of the latest trends and inovations. We use recycled vegan fabrics.We need to discover suppliers, practical tools and resources, and learn from experts about how to combine sustainability with commercial success. Our aim is to develop a collaborative movement which would transform social and environmental standards in our brand and local fashion industry.
Brands with their actions should try to change today's customer behaviour and increase awareness for sustainability. Circular Fashion Summit is a project that helps brands to achieve the above, which is also highlighted in this year's focus. We as a brand offer to our customers sustainable substitution to their desirable materials and thus make our small contribution in redesigning and shifting their behavior to live more consciously in greener landscape.
