Graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, he has worked at the Piacenza wool mill since 1993. From 2006 he has been involved in research projects funded by the European Commission, has participated into 20 projects in the field of ICT, IoT, 3D design, traceability and sustainability.

He is the coordinator and author of the Horizon 2020 project TRICK project: product data TRaceability Information management by bloCKchains interoperability and open circular service marketplace, with 33 partners from 12 countries - https://www.trick-project.eu/.

Evaluator for the European Commission and for the Innovation Agency, member of the Textile and Clothing Technologies platform led by Euratex since 2006.

He founded SizeYou, which has developed and patented a 3D scanning system and acquisition of anthropometric measurements of the human body through the analysis of images collected by smartphones, used for the medical, fitness and technical clothing sectors. The company successfully completed its first round of investments by external investors in July 2021.
